Delivery Specialist

About the role

The Delivery Specialist ensures safe and efficient delivery of parts and products to professional customers while handling cash on delivery and managing customer returns. This role supports store operations through reliable vehicle management and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
• Use fleet‑management hand‑held devices to capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform pre‑trip inspections, and secure keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies.
• Pick up and process customer returns, including warranty and core items.
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately.
• Refuel vehicles, lock and secure them at the end of the day, and clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist with additional store duties such as stocking, merchandising, errands, and occasional cashier responsibilities.

Required profile

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point system.
• Valid state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility.

Required skills

• Operation of delivery fleet‑management hand‑held devices.
• Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance reporting.
• Cash handling and COD collection.
