Data Science Engineer – Business Intelligence & Analytics

About the role

The Data Science Engineer – Business Intelligence, Analytics & AI will turn enterprise data into actionable insights for Cornerstone Building Brands. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable analytics solutions that support strategic decision‑making and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, KPI frameworks, semantic models and reusable business metrics.
• Create dimensional data models (star and snowflake schemas) and support enterprise‑wide data architecture standards.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes and analytical data pipelines, collaborating with data engineering teams.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with governance, security and privacy standards.
• Perform validation, reconciliation, root‑cause analysis, testing and documentation of business rules, data lineage and calculation logic.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into user‑friendly analytics solutions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams including data engineering, business leadership and technology groups.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
