Data Platform Engineer – Kubernetes & Python

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join its Retail, Consumer Goods and Logistics unit in Austin. You will work on cloud‑based data platforms, building and maintaining services that enable clients to derive insights from large‑scale data.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements during the elicitation phase.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions for the development team.
• Develop, test, and integrate new features into existing applications while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, manage code repositories, and apply necessary changes.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth adoption.
• Resolve production incidents and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile
