Data Engineer

About the role

As a Data Engineer at Centerfield, you will design and maintain the specialized data collection infrastructure that supports the company’s proprietary data architecture. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable data pipelines that power analytics and business intelligence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data collection infrastructure aligned with Centerfield’s data architecture.
• Troubleshoot, research root causes, and resolve technical defects in data pipelines.
• Develop and execute maintenance strategies for specialized datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver BI, data warehousing, reporting, and analytical solutions.
• Own end‑to‑end data processes, including extraction, cleaning, and transformation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL tools (Talend, SSIS, Informatica) and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS).

• ETL tools: Talend, SSIS, Informatica.
• Google Cloud Platform services: Cloud Storage, Cloud Data Fusion, BigQuery, Google Analytics.
• AWS services: S3, SQS, Redshift, DocumentDB.
• Programming languages: Java, Python.
• NoSQL databases: MongoDB, DynamoDB, Druid, Hive, Presto.
• Data visualization: Tableau, Power BI.
• Performance‑tuning and real‑time streaming implementation.
