Data Analytics & Modeling Analyst II

About the role

The Commercial Insights Analyst supports YETI’s Commercial organization by turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive channel performance across the Americas. This role focuses on scaling insight delivery through self‑service dashboards, automated reporting and emerging AI‑enabled tools, enabling business partners to explore data quickly and independently.

Key responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder questions into defined data requirements in partnership with senior team members.
• Design and build analytics solutions—including dashboards, reports, AI agents and workflow automations—that track commercial performance and improve speed‑to‑insight.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Enterprise Reporting to scale and maintain analytics solutions.
• Generate and socialize insights by surfacing key trends, summarizing findings and supporting ongoing reporting.
• Lead analysis components for high‑impact deliverables such as weekly and monthly performance reviews and exploratory data analyses.
• Support channel‑optimization testing, develop hypotheses and use data to validate business strategies.
• Utilize SQL and analytics tools to ensure data quality, governance and reliable reporting.

Required profile

• Ability to translate business questions into clear data requirements.
• Collaborative attitude for working with cross‑functional teams including Data Engineering, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Detail‑oriented and focused on delivering accurate, timely insights.

Required skills

• SQL (or comparable query languages).
• Analytics and reporting tools for data visualization and dashboard creation.
