DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform & Automation

About the role

Vectra AI is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and implement pipelines and tools that enable continuous integration, delivery and deployment for its AI‑driven threat detection platform. The role focuses on automation, reliability and security of production infrastructure across cloud and data‑center environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Develop and operate production infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, reliability and security.
• Implement and support container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD) and serverless solutions.
• Provide operational support for multiple regions, including FedRAMP‑compliant environments.
• Collaborate with geo‑distributed development teams to improve deployment quality and speed.
• Maintain platform services consumed by internal partners and contribute to incident management and on‑call duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
• Strong passion for automation and continuous improvement.
• Exposure to cloud deployments, networking and security standards.

Required skills

• AWS cloud services.
• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD.
• Linux system administration.
• Python programming.
• Databases: Amazon RDS, MariaDB, DynamoDB.
• Telemetry and observability pipelines (metrics, logs, traces).
• Vulnerability scanning and security management.
