Data Analyst

About the role

Two Dots is seeking a Data Analyst to turn underwriting and product data into actionable insights that guide product decisions and business growth. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to monitor AI‑powered underwriting performance, identify trends, and support data‑driven strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from PostgreSQL and BigQuery.
• Build dashboards and visualizations (Tableau, Looker, Metabase) to make underwriting metrics accessible to stakeholders.
• Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and underwriting performance to generate product insights.
• Partner with product and engineering to define and track key metrics, run A/B tests, and measure feature impact.
• Identify trends and anomalies in application data to inform risk models and product improvements.
• Create clear reports and presentations for technical and non‑technical audiences, including business development support.

Required profile

• Strong SQL skills, comfortable with joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Experience building data visualizations and dashboards.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to ask good questions and translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, especially when working with financial and risk data.
