About the role

The University of Miami’s UHealth campus is seeking a full‑time Data Analyst 3 to perform advanced data analysis and provide actionable insights that support business operations and research initiatives. This position involves interpreting complex data sets, building predictive models, and developing dashboards to enhance decision‑making across the health system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining.
• Design and develop complex databases and interactive dashboards to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Provide ad‑hoc analyses and reporting, creating dashboards and reporting systems for end users.
• Identify trends and patterns in large data sets and recommend process improvements.
• Support and train staff on data management practices and ensure data collection, quality, and accessibility.
• Define data elements, establish policies for data accuracy, security, and maintenance, and act as a subject‑matter expert for junior analysts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant data analysis experience.
• Strong learning agility, teamwork, technical proficiency with office software, and excellent written and verbal communication.
