Cyber Security Analyst (Wed‑Sun)

About the role

DataDome is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join its threat research team on a Wednesday‑Sunday schedule. You will provide tier‑2 and tier‑3 support, analyze massive web‑traffic datasets, and help improve the real‑time detection engine that protects millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tier‑2 and tier‑3 support to customers and collaborate with threat researchers.
• Analyze petabyte‑scale web traffic (over 100 billion documents) to identify and block malicious activity.
• Investigate past attacks to strengthen detection rules and add new alerts.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to detect outliers in global traffic.
• Work closely with data scientists to continuously challenge and optimize the detection engine.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
• Strong passion for data, security, and automated attack mitigation.
• Experience with network or web infrastructure concepts (HTML, HTTP, CDN, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, cookies).

Required skills

• Python (or another scripting language) for automation.
• Database query languages: MySQL, NoSQL, ElasticSearch.
• Familiarity with Kibana (bonus).
• Understanding of web protocols and infrastructure (HTML, HTTP, CDN, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, cookies).
