Customer Service Agent (Part‑Time)

About the role

As a Part‑Time Customer Service Agent you will be the front‑line ambassador for passengers, delivering courteous, efficient and professional assistance throughout their travel experience. You will work in a dynamic airport environment, handling ticketing, check‑in, boarding and post‑flight procedures while ensuring a smooth and pleasant journey for every traveler.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, reissue and refund passenger tickets and confirm flight reservations.
• Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations.
• Perform passenger check‑in, seat assignment, and manage oversold seat situations.
• Issue vouchers, coordinate hotel accommodations, meals and transportation for affected passengers.
• Operate gate readers, jetways/bridges, and make boarding and departure announcements.
• Accept, tag and process baggage, including credit‑card transactions at kiosks.
• Assist passengers with self‑service kiosks, special assistance needs, unaccompanied minors and non‑ambulatory travelers.
• Maintain the boarding timeline, perform flight close‑out procedures and provide on‑the‑job customer service training.

Required profile

• Friendly, courteous and professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mandatory overtime when required.
• Reliability and regular on‑site attendance.
• Capacity to handle high‑volume, fast‑paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ticketing and reservation systems.
• Operation of gate readers/scanners and jetway equipment.
• Kiosk and self‑service check‑in system operation.
• Baggage handling and credit‑card transaction processing.
• Public announcement delivery and document verification.
