CRNA – Full-Time with $30K Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will provide anesthesia care for surgical, obstetrical and other pain‑producing procedures at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. This full‑time position works under physician supervision within a collaborative team that includes residents, fellows and attending anesthesiologists. The role emphasizes patient safety, thorough assessment and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients during a variety of clinical procedures while monitoring vital signs.
• Assess patients before, during and after anesthesia, ensuring safety and compliance with best practices.
• Document anesthesia procedures, incidents and patient responses accurately in the medical record.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from an accredited nurse‑anesthesia program.
• Current APRN license in Louisiana and NBCRNA certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and computer data entry.
• Ability to retrieve and manage patient information electronically.
