Crew Member – Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping

About the role

The Crew Member will join a landscaping team responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces on assigned properties. This hands‑on role involves operating equipment, applying chemicals safely, and performing a variety of ground‑care tasks to ensure high‑quality landscape enhancement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and backhoes to perform mowing, mulching, trimming, and earth‑moving tasks.
• Apply weed‑control chemicals and other treatments in compliance with licensing requirements and legal standards.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Keep job sites, vehicles, trailers, and storage areas safe, organized, and clean.
• Report any site, equipment, or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
• Support the Crew Leader and Operations Manager by following installation plans and project instructions.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape installation or maintenance.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and follow site plans.
• Dependable, punctual, safety‑conscious, and able to work independently.
• Effective communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment drug screening, background, and motor‑vehicle checks.
