Creative Director

About the role

UnitedMasters is seeking a Creative Director to own and elevate its creative vision. Based in Brooklyn, the role blends brand strategy, design, and storytelling to connect independent artists with fans and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the UnitedMasters brand system in partnership with the in‑house agency, Translation.
• Lead end‑to‑end creative production across web, digital, email, social, and event campaigns.
• Develop market‑leading social content series that showcase artists and grow audience engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Design, Artist Marketing, and Brand & Partnerships to deliver emotionally compelling, performance‑driven creative.
• Champion a data‑first approach, using insights to shape strategy and measure impact.
• Build and scale a high‑performing design organization with strong processes, tools, and operations.
• Hire, mentor, and manage an in‑house and freelance creative team.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with precision.
• Comfortable thriving in lean environments while delivering both short‑term wins and long‑term solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, influencing senior leadership and cross‑functional partners.
