Controls Systems Engineer – Multiple Positions

About the role

Bosch Rexroth is looking for Controls Systems Engineers to join its Fountain Inn facility. You will act as a software developer and support lead on customer projects, delivering embedded solutions for machine controllers and skid‑steer loader platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform requirement analysis, system design, software development and verification using Bosch Rexroth machine controllers.
• Develop platform solutions that add functionality and automation to skid‑steer loaders.
• Manage platform development to create versatile, portable solutions across multiple machine types.
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally to support customer sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, System Engineer, or in embedded software development.

Required skills

• C/C++ programming.
• MATLAB Simulink.
• Embedded code development.
• Software architecture tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MATLAB System Composer.
• Version control systems: Git, SVN.
• Testing and debugging tools: TPT Fusion, INCA, Vector CANalyzer, CANape.
• CAN protocols: SAE J1939, ISO 11783, UDS stack (ISO 14229).
