Controller – Financial Reporting & Advisory Support

About the role

Our client, a leading tax accounting and international advisory firm, is expanding its finance team across North America, LATAM, and Europe. The Controller will be based in Coconut Grove, FL and will report directly to the CFO, playing a pivotal role in financial reporting and supporting fast‑growing advisory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Coordinate and lead the external audit process, ensuring compliance with Big 4 or large regional firm standards.
• Maintain and enhance ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) to streamline accounting workflows.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to operational and advisory teams.
• Support the development of internal controls and financial policies across multiple jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Professional experience in public accounting, audit/assurance, or professional services (legal, advisory, consulting).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and technical accounting concepts.
• Experience working with robust ERP platforms such as Oracle or SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
