Contract Specialist

About the role

CPH, a top‑500 engineering and architecture firm, is looking for a Contract Specialist to join its Sanford, FL office. You will manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring agreements accurately reflect negotiated terms, project scopes, and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts, amendments, scopes of work, and related documents for compliance with business terms and project requirements.
• Support program and project managers throughout the contract process, from negotiation to execution, amendment, and closeout.
• Maintain an organized database of executed contracts, amendments, certificates of insurance, and other documentation.
• Prepare contract summaries, reports, and other information for management review.
• Assist in developing and maintaining standardized contract templates, forms, workflows, and approval processes.
• Support internal audits, risk‑management initiatives, and collaborate with external advisors when specialized contractual matters arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in contract administration, legal review, or procurement, preferably within engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using contract management systems.
