Contingent Worker – Data & Lab Support (HEALS Lab)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Contingent Worker to support Dr. Melissa Zielinski’s HEALS Lab. The role focuses on data‑related tasks, lab logistics, and participant interaction across multiple research projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data entry, management, and extraction using REDCap, Ripple, Monday.com, and other lab software.
• Assist in assembling and preparing laboratory materials and supplies.
• Support participant‑facing activities, including recruitment, enrollment, and research assessments.
• Contribute to research reporting, documentation, and dissemination of findings.

Required profile

• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or have an approved exemption.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work onsite in the HEALS Lab environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with REDCap.
• Experience using Ripple.
• Familiarity with Monday.com.
• Data entry and data management capabilities.
