About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join its Contessa Contractor program. This temporary, contract‑based role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care within a collaborative, research‑driven academic medical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure in the state of Arkansas or ability to obtain it promptly.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
