Construction Superintendent Trainee – U.S. Field Operations

About the role

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and proactive Construction Superintendent Trainee to join our U.S. field operations. Based in Honduras initially, the selected candidate will relocate temporarily to the United States for hands‑on training in construction supervision, project coordination, safety, quality control, and U.S. construction practices.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities, field personnel, crews, and subcontractors.
• Support the Superintendent and Project Management team in planning and executing jobsite operations.
• Assign and monitor field tasks, tracking progress against schedules and milestones.
• Conduct regular jobsite walkthroughs, inspections, and quality checks.
• Assist in enforcing safety procedures and identifying field issues that could impact schedule, quality, or safety.
• Maintain organized field reports, photographs, logs, and other project documentation.
• Participate in project, coordination, and safety meetings.
• Travel between project locations as required.

Required profile

• Prior meaningful field experience in construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn U.S. construction standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Eligibility for a J‑1 visa (company‑supported).
