Construction Superintendent (Night Shift) – Data Centers

About the role

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead night‑shift activities for a hyperscale data‑center project in Saint Francisville, LA. You will be responsible for daily scheduling, material and equipment coordination, and ensuring the safety and well‑being of the crew and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily construction schedules and planning activities on site.
• Coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, and labor to meet project milestones.
• Lead safety initiatives, including JHA revisions, permit sign‑offs, and daily safety briefings.
• Facilitate constructability reviews, walk‑downs, and client/owner meetings.
• Prepare estimates, client presentations, timelines, staffing plans, and execution plans.
• Oversee QA processes, turnover documentation, punch‑list management, and final walk‑downs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil) during design, construction, and commissioning.
• Maintain clear communication with owners, designers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Extensive construction site experience, preferably as a general foreman, superintendent, or construction manager.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑design, pre‑construction, building systems, and contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage safety, and build client relationships.
• Experience with pharma, GMP facilities, or clean‑room environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
