Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead a portfolio of facility renovation, new construction, and capital improvement projects. This role combines professional engineering, architectural, and landscape services with construction management, fiscal planning, and scheduling to deliver high‑quality, on‑time results.

Key responsibilities

• Assume management and supervisory responsibility for architectural, landscape, and construction activities across multiple projects.
• Serve as the primary project manager for assigned capital projects, overseeing design, plan check, inspection, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Coordinate project activities with internal departments, external agencies, and contractors.
• Develop and implement program goals, policies, and priorities; monitor service delivery efficiency.
• Ensure energy‑conservation measures are identified and enforced.
• Oversee landscape maintenance contracts and verify compliance with standards.
• Maintain facilities in compliance with regulations, including ADA and unified code standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of HVAC, communications, and utility systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing professional and technical architectural, landscape, and construction services.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and supervise consultants.
• Strong knowledge of capital project fiscal planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Experience liaising with city departments, divisions, and external agencies.
• Understanding of energy‑conservation practices and compliance requirements.
