Construction Laborer – Full-Time in Baltimore

About the role

The Construction Laborer supports renovation, repair, and property‑improvement projects for Ameribuild in Baltimore. You will work alongside skilled tradespeople, handling demolition, material preparation, and site cleanup while adhering to safety and project guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform selective demolition, debris removal, hauling, sorting, and lawful disposal of materials.
• Assist with framing, drywall, trim, doors, cabinets, flooring, painting, caulking, and punch‑list work.
• Support licensed plumbing, electrical, and HVAC professionals with material handling, staging, fixture placement, testing assistance, labeling, and cleanup.
• Measure, cut, drill, fasten, assemble, move, and install materials within your authorized skill level.
• Load and unload vehicles, maintain accountability for tools and equipment, and keep jobsites clean and safe.

Required profile

• Non‑exempt hourly employee able to work a 4‑day (40 h) or 3‑day (30 h) schedule, with weekend coverage preferred.
• Must follow all safety procedures, permit requirements, and report hazards or issues immediately.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common hand and power tools used in construction.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and support for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC trades.
• Ability to accurately follow measurements, project plans, and written instructions.
