Construction Assistant Superintendent – Jacksonville, FL

About the role

We are looking for a Construction Assistant Superintendent to join our Field Operations team in Jacksonville, Florida. You will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee daily site activities, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct construction tasks on‑site.
• Support field staff, subcontractors, and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Maintain project schedules, control costs, and uphold quality standards.
• Assist with safety management and promote a culture aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (construction‑related coursework a plus).
• Minimum 3 years as a Lead Foreman on medium to large projects.
• At least 3 years hands‑on experience in construction trades or field operations.
• Experience with government, military, or large commercial projects preferred.
• Certifications: CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, STS (training can be provided).
• LEED Green Associate certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, and STS credentials.
• LEED Green Associate (optional).
