Community Manager for Avana Heather Ridge

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Avana Heather Ridge property in Bowie, Maryland. The role combines leadership of on‑site staff with responsibility for financial performance, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise property staff, schedule daily activities, and allocate resources to meet operational goals.
• Develop and monitor the property budget, analyzing financial statements and market data to forecast performance.
• Set rent rates, ensure timely rent collection, and post fees accurately.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multi‑family housing regulations.
• Drive resident engagement initiatives and address community concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant property management or community management experience.
• Strong analytical skills for budgeting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of fair housing and related regulatory requirements.
