About the role
The Community Manager leads daily operations of an active‑adult (55+) community, ensuring residents enjoy a high‑quality living experience while the property meets its financial and regulatory goals.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee onsite team members and coordinate daily activities and resources.
- Maintain exceptional resident satisfaction by responding promptly to concerns, complaints, questions, and requests.
- Drive strong financial performance through budget management, expense control, and revenue optimization.
- Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and all applicable housing regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between ownership, residents, and the onsite team.
- Foster a vibrant, inclusive environment that supports the lifestyle of active‑adult residents.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing residential or active‑adult communities.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage budgets and drive financial results.
