About the role
Shortstory is looking for an early‑career, creator‑native generalist to build its organic growth engine. The role blends community building, content creation, and growth experimentation to turn customers into advocates and drive zero‑cost acquisition.
Key responsibilities
- Build and activate owned communities, spark conversation, and identify highly engaged members.
- Turn customers into creators and ambassadors by providing prompts, frameworks, and light guidance for organic content.
- Film and edit short‑form, lo‑fi video content, appear on live streams, and repurpose moments into reusable assets.
- Plan, host, and support live digital or in‑person events, bringing energy and authenticity.
- Run test‑and‑learn growth experiments, track basic performance metrics, and iterate quickly.
Required profile
- Native creator with a personal audience (5k+ followers) or experience managing a community (50k+ members).
- Comfortable on camera, enjoys interacting with people, and thrives in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
- Curious, scrappy, and eager to test ideas, see what works, and iterate fast.
