Cloud Engineering Manager (DevOps)

About the role

Qorali is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering leader to drive automation, reliability, and platform operations in a highly regulated environment. This senior role blends deep technical expertise with people‑management skills to lead a high‑performing team delivering modern cloud infrastructure and mission‑critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Champion infrastructure automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code adoption across AWS and Azure.
• Design and implement an internal developer platform (IDP) to enhance developer experience.
• Lead cloud platform initiatives, managing Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized workloads.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.
• Build automation frameworks, deployment standards, and engineering best practices.
• Oversee technical delivery, production support, and change management.
• Partner with security, compliance, and architecture teams within a regulated setting.
• Coach and develop engineering talent, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading cloud infrastructure or platform engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, and configuration‑management tools.
• Deep understanding of cloud‑native architecture, DevOps practices, and automation‑first environments.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on technical guidance.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries is a plus.
