Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will design, build and operate scalable, secure DevOps infrastructure for both cloud and on‑premises environments. Working closely with development, operations and security teams, you will ensure reliable service delivery through automated pipelines, Kubernetes management and robust database operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI and Argo CD.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible and Helm.
• Deploy, configure and manage Kubernetes clusters across cloud providers (EKS, AKS, GKE) and on‑premises platforms (Rancher, RKE2, k3s, OpenShift).
• Enforce Kubernetes security best practices including RBAC, PodSecurity, secrets management and network policies.
• Operate and troubleshoot distributed databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, CockroachDB and etcd within Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zabbix) for infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to design scalable deployment patterns and resolve pipeline or deployment issues.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, playbooks and architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Strong background in Kubernetes administration and security.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed database systems in containerised environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively across development, operations and security teams.
