Clinical Physician (Full-time or Part-time)

About the role

Optexity is building a clinical AI assistant that works directly inside medical practices. The assistant surfaces care gaps, prepares pre‑visit summaries, flags risks, and suggests treatment plans. As a Clinical Physician you will define what “correct” looks like for the system, ensuring its outputs align with real‑world standards of care.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the clinical signals the assistant should surface, distinguishing true care gaps from noise.
• Design the content, order, and length of pre‑visit summaries that physicians actually read.
• Specify the clinical search queries needed before a visit and outline what a complete answer looks like.
• Review and score AI‑generated risk flags, differential diagnoses, and treatment recommendations against your own reasoning.
• Help build ground‑truth evaluation sets and rubrics that reflect actual standards of care.
• Participate in product design reviews and stress‑test features against real clinic workflows.

Required profile

• Board‑certified physician in internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, or a related specialty.
• Experience in direct patient care and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) workflows.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate clinical reasoning into precise, checkable criteria.
• Willingness to work closely with an interdisciplinary AI research team on a weekly basis.
