Cleared Entry Control Monitor

About the role

Amentum is seeking Cleared Entry Control Monitors to perform entry control actions at Offutt Air Force Base. The role monitors breached areas of a designated perimeter or fence on non-secured sites, locations or entry control points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter construction sites and secured zones through credential checks carried out according to government procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Check personnel credentials using the construction security access control systems or government-provided procedures, and deny entry to anyone who does not meet access requirements.
• Open and close the construction site access control point according to the prime contractor's schedule and referenced SSO Security Requirements.
• Assist the Site Security Manager or designee with personnel and vehicle inspections, including setting up vehicle inspection lanes and pedestrian access points with portable traffic cones and directing traffic safely.
• Maintain a daily 24-hour written log of personal electronic device violations and security events, give it to the CSM/SSM after each shift, and not share it with others unless approved.
• Summon emergency vehicles and crews as required.

Required profile

• Active TS clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalency and a state-issued driver's license.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.
• No current or pending criminal charges and no misdemeanors or felonies involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, assault or battery.
• Ability to detain persons briefly until Security Forces are notified, and to write clear, detailed reports.
• Willingness to undergo periodic drug testing and a physical exam, and to perform frequent walking, standing, climbing and occasional running; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Required skills

• Basic First Aid/CPR/AED training or ability to receive it.
• Planning and organizing skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
