Class A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced Class A Linehaul Drivers to join its San Antonio service center. Drivers will pull 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53’ van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight safely and on schedule between designated locations.
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment before and after trips.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA specs for military transition).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification.
• Experience operating double or triple trailers.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
