About the role

Join a collaborative litigation team at Marshall Dennehey, an Am Law 200 civil defense firm, where mentorship and growth are priorities. This full‑time associate position offers early responsibility on complex civil defense matters for Fortune 500 clients across New York offices.

Key responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions.
• Litigate matters from inception to resolution under senior attorney guidance.
• Handle diverse cases such as premises liability, products liability, rideshare liability, construction defect, and commercial auto/trucking litigation.
• Engage directly with clients and contribute to strategic case planning.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in defense.
• Strong judgment, organization, and strategic thinking for high‑exposure, catastrophic loss cases.
• Excellent analytical, legal writing, research, and communication skills.
