Cashier (Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at Sedano’s Supermarkets in Miami. This part‑time position involves providing excellent customer service while accurately handling transactions in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist them with their purchases.
• Scan items, weigh produce, and operate the cash register efficiently.
• Accept all forms of payment, provide correct change, and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
• Perform price checks, bag items, and help customers load purchases into carts when needed.
• Return discarded items to shelves and keep the checkout area tidy.
• Report any safety hazards immediately to the store manager and help maintain a safe store environment.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work flexible morning or afternoon shifts.
• Attention to detail and honesty in handling cash.
• Willingness to follow store policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
