Calypso Engineer / DevOps

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Calypso Engineer who will both develop and configure the Calypso platform across Money Market, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Collateral modules, and provide L2/L3 production support. The role also includes full DevOps ownership of builds, releases and environment management throughout the Calypso software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize Calypso using Core Java and BOL scripting, creating plug‑ins, workflows, static data and reports.
• Build and maintain interfaces between Calypso and upstream/downstream systems such as market data, settlement, accounting and risk.
• Provide application support for production issues, performing root‑cause analysis, break‑fix and permanent remediation (L2/L3).
• Own CI/CD pipelines and manage environment builds/refreshes across DEV, SIT, UAT and PROD.
• Support Calypso version upgrades and patch cycles, including environment stand‑up, regression coordination and cut‑over.
• Administer batch scheduling (Autosys/Control‑M) and monitor platform performance (JVM, database, application server).
• Maintain deployment documentation, runbooks and participate in release governance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on Calypso development/engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Calypso certification is a plus but not mandatory.
