CAD Design Engineer (Gas Turbine Enclosures)

About the role

We are seeking a talented CAD Design Engineer to join our client’s team in Mabank, Texas for an immediate 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension. The role will be based onsite and will serve as the primary liaison between the client and offshore engineering groups.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop gas turbine enclosure components using Creo.
• Gather and translate mechanical requirements from the client.
• Manage change requests and documentation in Windchill.
• Conduct quality reviews of deliverables produced by offshore teams.
• Coordinate technical communication between onsite and remote engineers.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in CAD design engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, contract environment.

Required skills

• Creo (CAD software).
• Windchill change‑management system.
• Experience with gas turbine enclosure design.
