Business Healthcare Technology Adjunct Instructor

About the role

Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a qualified Business Healthcare Technology Adjunct Instructor to deliver online courses on a part‑time basis. The role reports to the Dean of Business and Public Service Technologies and focuses on preparing students for careers in healthcare administration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives.
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans for credited technical/occupational courses.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain required supplies, equipment, and budget requests.
• Ensure program certification requirements are met.
• Prepare administrative documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, and staff on instructional matters.
• Support recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Work experience in a healthcare‑related office environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, office procedures, billing, coding, and insurance processes.
• Strong pedagogical knowledge and ability to deliver online instruction.
