Business Development Representative – International Markets

About the role

Sweet Robo is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to generate and qualify leads for its international sales team. You will work remotely from South Africa while supporting the US market, introducing innovative smart products to a diverse range of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective customers in international markets.
• Generate leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn and online research.
• Introduce Sweet Robo’s products clearly and professionally.
• Qualify prospects based on needs, interest and business potential.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Secure qualified appointments for the sales team.
• Maintain consistent follow‑up and accurately update lead information.
• Meet agreed lead‑generation and appointment‑setting targets.

Required profile

• Based in South Africa with a reliable home office setup.
• Minimum three years of sales, business development or lead‑generation experience.
• Proven outbound prospecting and lead‑qualification track record.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Confident telephone manner and strong persuasion skills.
• Ability to work US business hours.
• Own laptop, cellphone, fast stable internet and backup power.
