Business Analyst – Guiding Care (Healthcare)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Healthcare unit, focusing on the Guiding Care solution for payer clients. The role supports clients in Hartford, CT (and other locations) by analysing business processes, driving optimisation and ensuring successful system implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client business processes and identify optimisation opportunities aligned with industry standards.
• Facilitate benchmarking studies and work with stakeholders to align solution performance with domain insights.
• Collaborate with technical teams to document system customisations, configurations and draft standard operating procedures.
• Research third‑party products, providing comparative analysis of features, costs and scalability.
• Coordinate solution implementation, address issues during setup and integration, and support post‑implementation stability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and coordination abilities with a focus on process optimisation.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for cross‑functional teams.
• Experience creating detailed process maps and technical documentation in the healthcare payer domain.
• Proactive approach to benchmarking studies and product research.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of healthcare payer operations, care management, prior authorization, utilization management, grievances & appeals, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading implementation and enhancement projects involving HealthEdge GuidingCare.
