Business Analyst - Calypso

About the role

Delan Associates is looking for an experienced Business Analyst specialized in Calypso to act as the bridge between Treasury, Trading, Operations, Risk and the Calypso engineering and testing teams. You will translate business needs into functional specifications and guide them through development, enhancements, and version upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and prioritize requirements from Treasury, Trading, Middle Office and Operations stakeholders.
• Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for new features, enhancements and regulatory changes.
• Perform gap analysis between business needs and out‑of‑the‑box Calypso functionality, recommending configuration or customization.
• Lead requirement walkthroughs, design reviews and sign‑off sessions with both business and technology teams.
• Define UAT scope, acceptance criteria and support users through UAT execution and defect triage.
• Assess the impact of Calypso version upgrades and regulatory changes on front, middle and back‑office workflows.

Required profile

• 6+ years of business analysis experience in capital markets, treasury or investment‑banking technology programs.
• Strong functional knowledge of Calypso across at least two modules (Money Market, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Collateral/Margining).
• Understanding of the Calypso trade lifecycle and data setup.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science or related field; MBA a plus.
• Calypso functional certification preferred.
