About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Bus Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for student passengers in Kansas City. The role can be part‑time or full‑time, and you will be a key member of our transportation team.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the bus safely, following traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations.
- Follow a precise timetable to ensure dependable and punctual service.
- Manage passenger pick‑ups and drop‑offs, maintaining a calm and comfortable environment.
- Communicate promptly with passengers and supervisors about delays or route changes.
- Perform routine checks on tires, lights, oil, and other bus components.
- Report any bus‑related issues to the Director of Transportation with detailed information.
- Adhere to schedules consistently, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
Required profile
- Willingness to obtain a Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsement through provided training.
- Successful completion of a background check.
