Brewery Area Manager

About the role

If you are interested in a hands‑on, continuous‑improvement‑oriented, fast‑paced role in a world‑class manufacturing environment, the Brewery Area Manager position is for you. You will own the budget and performance of brewing or packaging processes, develop action plans to meet critical metrics, and lead a unionized team on the production floor.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a unionized team in a 24/7 production facility to optimize efficiency.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and schedules.
• Manage budgeting, financial results, and inventory tracking via SAP.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using lean, Six Sigma, root‑cause analysis and PDCA cycles.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality compliance in brewing and packaging operations.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and uphold standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, supply‑chain or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized production environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights and some weekends.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and change‑management abilities.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for financial and inventory management.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Capability to conduct root‑cause analysis, PDCA and SDCA cycles.
• Technical troubleshooting and process‑optimization skills.
