About the role

Ochsner Health in Lake Charles is seeking a full‑time, board‑certified or board‑eligible Neurosurgeon to join its thriving Neuroscience Institute. The physician will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, providing high‑quality spine and cranial surgery while benefiting from mentorship and advanced robotic technology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in accordance with Ochsner’s core values.
• Perform spine and cranial procedures, with an emphasis on spine surgery, using the Globus Robot and G‑arm systems.
• Share call responsibilities with two other neurosurgeons and collaborate with neuro‑intensivists, neuroradiologists, and neurologists across the network.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Willingness to participate in shared call coverage and mentorship programs for new surgeons.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑first, compassionate, and inclusive care.

Required skills

• Experience with the Globus Robot surgical system.
• Proficiency using the G‑arm imaging platform.
• Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
