Board-Certified Neurologist – General Neurology, Lake Charles

Ochsner Health in Lake Charles is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Neurologist to join a growing, well‑supported practice. This position offers a collaborative, patient‑centered environment with the stability and resources of Louisiana’s largest healthcare system.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general neurology care with opportunities to incorporate subspecialty interests such as headache, neuromuscular, epilepsy, stroke, and movement disorders.
• Maintain an outpatient‑focused practice with minimal inpatient duties.
• Leverage an established referral base and strong primary‑care network to ensure immediate patient volume.
• Utilize tele‑neurology and tele‑stroke services to support work‑life balance.
• Access and interpret advanced neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, EMG, and imaging.

Required profile

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Neurology.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality outpatient neurology services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• EEG interpretation.
• EMG interpretation.
• Neuroimaging interpretation.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
