About the role

Ochsner Health’s Department of Cardiology is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Electrophysiologist to join a large, academic‑focused group practice in New Orleans. The position involves direct patient care, teaching responsibilities, and participation in clinical research within the John Ochsner Heart & Vascular Institute.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a high‑volume adult electrophysiology program.
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows across Ochsner’s medical schools.
Engage in clinical research projects related to cardiac rhythm disorders.

Required profile

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology.
Medical Doctor (MD) with an active Louisiana medical license.
Willingness to work onsite at the New Orleans campus.

Required skills

Electrophysiology procedures and interpretation.
Cardiology clinical expertise.
