Bilingual Medical Receptionist (English & Spanish Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a professional, friendly, and highly organized Bilingual Medical Receptionist to join a busy medical practice remotely. The ideal candidate will fluently speak English and Spanish and bring at least three years of experience in a US healthcare setting, handling front‑office duties with precision and empathy.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls in English and Spanish and provide courteous front‑office support.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments, send reminders, and manage provider availability.
• Register new patients, collect demographic data, and maintain accurate records in the EMR/EHR system.
• Verify insurance eligibility, document insurance details, and coordinate with billing staff.
• Handle outbound calls for follow‑ups, manage faxes and messages, and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a US medical practice, clinic, hospital, or outpatient setting.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for patient registration and documentation.
