BDR Manager

About the role

Collective is looking for a BDR Manager to build and scale a high‑performing prospecting engine that fuels a rapid 1‑3 day sales cycle. You will inherit a large volume of inbound leads and be responsible for turning that pipeline into pipeline velocity by hiring, coaching, and scaling a team of BDRs.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard BDRs while establishing a scalable playbook for fast ramp times.
• Own inbound lead response time, qualification rate, and speed‑to‑lead as core KPIs.
• Build and refine prospecting workflows, scripts, and sequences that convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities.
• Set and manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline targets and forecast conversion rates.
• Coach reps daily through call shadowing, reviews, and 1:1s to improve talk tracks and objection handling.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to optimize lead routing, scoring, and handoff processes.

Required profile

• Proven top‑performer as an individual contributor BDR/SDR, consistently exceeding quota.
• 2+ years leading a BDR/SDR team in a fast‑paced environment with short sales cycles.
• Experience scaling a team from scratch and getting new hires productive quickly.
• Deep expertise in inbound lead triage, prioritization, and rapid qualification.
• Data‑driven mindset, comfortable living in CRM dashboards and analytics tools.
