Azure Architect – Ann Arbor

About the role

Infosys is seeking an Azure Architect to join its Retail, Consumer Goods and Logistics unit in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The role will focus on designing, implementing and optimizing cloud‑based infrastructure solutions for clients in these sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop diagnostic tools, monitoring protocols and conduct root‑cause analysis to resolve complex incidents while meeting SLA commitments.
• Perform detailed IT infrastructure assessments, identify gaps and risks, and recommend tailored enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design scalable, secure and high‑performance Azure infrastructure solutions and ensure environment readiness for deployments.
• Optimize deployment processes, create deployment documentation and troubleshoot issues during rollout.
• Establish robust change‑management procedures to minimize risk and ensure smooth integration of system updates.
• Implement advanced monitoring, capacity planning and performance‑tuning measures to prevent bottlenecks.
• Define and apply security controls, disaster‑recovery strategies and risk assessments.
• Identify automation opportunities, design tools and evaluate their impact on efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with multi‑vendor and cross‑functional teams, documenting project activities and ensuring successful execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering Azure‑based infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and develop preventive action plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multi‑vendor environments.
• Solid understanding of change management, security, disaster recovery and performance optimization.
