AV Service Technician – Residential Systems

About the role

We are looking for a trustworthy, hands‑on AV Service Technician to service residential audio‑visual, home theater, networking, control, lighting, shading and security systems for our Dallas customers.

Key responsibilities

• Service and troubleshoot residential A/V, home theater, network, control, lighting, shading, and security systems.
• Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents to determine wiring and signal flow.
• Program and configure control platforms such as Crestron, Savant, Control4, Josh.ai and Lutron QSX.
• Perform advanced networking tasks and resolve device issues on‑site.
• Train clients on system operation and recommend upgrades when appropriate.
• Document service activities, maintain complete service records and use software for labor and workflow management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in luxury AV integration, preferably with residential projects.
• Hands‑on experience on construction sites, AV, lighting, shading, control and network installations.
• Ability to climb ladders, use power and hand tools, lift 50 lb, and hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Steady work history (at least 3 years between jobs) and strong interpersonal skills.

• Crestron, Savant, Control4 (C4), Josh.ai, Lutron QSX platforms.
• Networking fundamentals and advanced troubleshooting.
• Control system programming.

• Salary range $65,000 – $80,000 per year.
