AV Apprentice Technician

About the role

Lelch is seeking an aspiring Low‑Voltage Technician to join our team. You will learn how to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low‑voltage systems in commercial and residential settings.

Key responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, and test low‑voltage cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron).
• Mount devices at the ends of cables.
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Set up and configure devices.
• Understand basic networking concepts.
• Troubleshoot devices.
• Program systems such as Lutron, C4, Savant, and Crestron.

Required profile

• Interest in commercial and/or residential AV & low‑voltage wiring & installation.
• Familiarity with networking.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Required skills

• Low‑voltage cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker).
• Lutron and Crestron system knowledge.
• Equipment rack assembly.
• Device configuration.
• Network fundamentals.
• Device troubleshooting.
• Programming Lutron, C4, Savant, Crestron.
