About the role
The Associate Social Media Manager will join Condé Nast Traveler US’s audience development and social team in New York. Reporting to the Global Director of Social, you will help shape and execute the brand’s social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and emerging platforms, creating engaging copy, visuals and video content that drives traffic and audience loyalty.
Key responsibilities
- Own the day‑to‑day management of CNT US social channels, optimizing content to grow traffic, engagement and other KPIs.
- Collaborate with editors, video producers, PR and designers to create and schedule on‑brand social packages.
- Partner with audience development to test new ideas, drive traffic to editorial sites and improve loyalty.
- Work with data analysts to monitor performance, report insights and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Coordinate with social managers across other Condé Nast brands to share learnings.
- Support sales, marketing and commerce teams on sponsorships and new activation opportunities.
Required profile
- Deep familiarity with social media culture – “chronically online” and aware of emerging trends.
- Strong copywriting ability and eye for on‑brand visual storytelling.
- Passion for travel and experience creating short‑form video content.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work closely with editorial, design and analytics teams.
